thank you very much. i saw you drawing mainly Manga etc. which also did when i was 16. you could start by splitting the hair in many wisps, concentrating on the fact that every single one has high light and shadows. don't be afraid of putting very dark and very light spots in the picture. it will help a lot make it look (manga) realistic.
realistic hair in fact has no thick wisps, and is much more difficult to draw. the line should always follow the flow of the hair. so you need many lines, for having the effect of many single hairs. also there aren't any heavy highlight.
all in all its difficult to describe. i would recommend you just to start drawing real people, and take a close look. the best way to learn is just to observe very closely. but all in all: for the beginning much contrast. (and highlight for mangas), many lines flowing in the direction with the hair.
